Hope I don't have to pay for their upgraded home!

So, my biggest frustration lately is real estate. How are people able to buy a second bigger and cheaper home and ditch the one they are in? How is that allowed and how can people feel good about that? When I first heard that people were doing this, my initial reaction was "that is so dishonest and so wrong!" without someone telling me it's wrong. Well guess what, EVERYONE is doing it. Even people I highly regard as good people are taking advantage of this loophole. Sure their credit will be shot but who cares!? They have their bigger home at a smaller monthly payment. Why should anyone stick with a home that isn't worth what they paid? It's the mortgage companies fault anyway. With so many people taking part in this, I'll sit back and have to ask myself "is it wrong? Maybe it's not. Why shouldn't I take advantage. After all, I'm in the hole at least half what I paid for my starter home. It may not be 10 years before I can get out." Luckily, I have some awesome parents and some friends with integrity to remind me that it is wrong. We have been taught that it's wrong in our church. We made the choices and we need to pay our debtors. If we can find a good deal, we will try to invest to even out this debt but this home is our responsibility. Even if we did follow the crowd on this one, we'd have to pay it in the long run and so will our kids. The money just doesn't disappear people. It's just sad we're in a world when you get rewarded for making poor choices and then the rest of us are left in the dust but I have faith someday, probably even now (as my father reminded me) we are and will be blessed for making the right choice. It sucks, but I can't let it get to me and I know everything will work out. I don't want to make people feel bad but there aren't enough people out there saying it's wrong and I feel I need to voice it a little bit.
